How To Depict The Positive from each Situation

Many a times we find ourselves easily spiraling into a negative thought process, from many unfavourable situations, however, we should be also trying to see what positive can come from it.

For example; you were unable to pay your phone bill, resulting in your phone being “cut off”. Many of us will jump to a stressful and worries thought process on how we’re going to get it back up as soon as possible.

But we seldom realize the peace and tranquility that comes with not being contacted by scammers various times throughout the day. As well as we are more likely to be more present in our relationships and our experiences, since, of course, there’s no phone to be holding other conversations and to distract you from the moment, teaching you how to appreciate what’s around you and not what’s and the tip of your fingers but at the same time, so many lifetimes away.

There is good to every situation that comes your way, take a moment, collect yourself, breathe and try to depict the good from the bad.

Day three:

Today without you was hard. Every little thing reminds me of you. Reluctant to wash the clothes I got back from your place, simply because they smell like you. Home. Comfort. Safety.

I hear your laugh in the back of mind on repeat, I can’t help but smile, only to be followed up with a break down.

I miss your touch and your warmth, your compassion, the look in your eyes when you look at me, your relentless “dad” jokes, your quirky personality and most of all you.

I wish I could fix this.

3 years

Three years, we spent together.

After three years, you could’ve broke my heart while looking me in the eyes.

Instead, I get an iMessage stating you hate this relationship and that you can no longer be with me.

We just spent the week together, you couldn’t think to say anything? No. You decided to string me along and break my heart over a message.

As they say, live and learn.

I forgive you.

I don’t hold resentment, and you were worth every minute.

But don’t ever do that to another person again. There’s nothing more painful to a break up than not even having the balls to look me in the face and watch my heart break.

My Intentions:

  • I choose to blog as opposed to keeping a journal as I like to share my experiences, I believe many of us may share similar experiences but have no one to share it with.
  • I plan to write about my experiences that impact my life or those around me, to relate to others that may have similar situations. I also plan to write about things that have helped me in certain situations or how to’s.
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • Anyone!
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?
  • I would like to help others as well as share my experiences.
